Main Duties
• Responsible to deal courteously and patiently with Front Counter Customers.
• Responsible to efficiently query the electronic catalogue and the Information Management System for timely identification, verification and processing of Parts & Accessories over the counter.
• Responsible to perform close control over credit customers and ensure that a Purchase Order is systematically obtained prior to processing and delivery of parts.
• Responsible to ensure that all cash invoices are paid before delivery of parts to customer.
• Responsible to ensure that all parts are shown to customer prior to delivery.
• Responsible to ensure that 50% deposit is obtained from cash customer for all approved quotes for which parts must be ordered.
• Responsible to act as interface with service technicians and provide information pertaining to parts and accessories needs.
• Responsible to provide timely assistance to workshop for processing of parts requests and authorisation for repairs.
• Responsible to ensure that quotes are processed and issued to customer over the counter and workshop staff for vehicles in the workshop within reasonable delay.
• Responsible to maintain proper follow up on quotes issued and keeps in touch with customer to maximise sales.
• Responsible to promote and sell Care and Lifestyle products to customers and give proper advise for safe and proper care of customer's Vehicle.
• Responsible to perform close verification of Parts returned by Customer or Workshop and systematically ensure that Parts are in good condition before parts are taken back to store.
Qualifications
• HSC
• Experience in a similar position and/or the automotive industry
Other Requisites
• Good IT skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Flexible and adaptable to change
